The Creation of "Wizardry and Ichor"
Hello lovely gamers of the Itch.io community. I'm back with a new game! Just like every other long form game I've worked on, this one was a toughy. First, let's go to the beginning...
After my publishing of a couple (3 hour long game jam) games, I was warmed up enough to start working on something bigger. While at lunch with my friends, I came up with the idea that I wanted to make a game that would cost money for once. Now, if you've seen the game you would know that it's obviously is free. So, what went wrong? Well, I was too indecisive and I just felt like it wasn't enough gameplay to force payment. Plus, can you even make people pay for a browser game? It doesn't seem right. I do really want to make a payed game eventually. Because, you know, I want money. Call me greedy, but I can't really prove I'm much good at programming if I can't make a single dollar off of it.
So, what's next? Probably the elusive "Idle Orbs 2" that I said I would make like 3 games ago. Now that I'm working with Svelte.js, I feel like I can get it done pretty fast.
Anyway, thanks for playing and I hope at least one of you kind people decides to donate to my Buy Me A Coffee or through itch. If not, that's cool too. Goodbye!
